Nan partners with CEOs, owners, and leadership teams across the jewelry industry to turn merchandising into a strategic growth driver. Through her proprietary 5 P’s of Merchandising™, Product, Price, Place, People, and Presentation, Nan brings together data and design, strategy and purpose, to create greater clarity, stronger profitability, and intentional growth.
With 25 years in the industry and a decade leading FACEts Consulting, Nan works at the intersection of merchandising strategy, consumer psychology, product development, brand positioning, and retail transformation. Her portfolio spans more than 40 brands, from independent retailers and designers to international manufacturers and retail conglomerates, across both the commercial and luxury sectors.
Before founding FACEts, she helped launch and grow major brands at Macy’s Inc., including Effy®, Triton®, and Chocolate Diamonds® by Le Vian®. As Senior Retail Buyer at David Yurman, she led merchandising strategy for key product launches and campaigns including Meteorite, Streamline®, Petrvs®, Shelby Cobra Timepiece, and Cable Reimagined. She is a GIA Graduate in Diamonds and Colored Stones and holds a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT).
A frequent industry speaker and published trade contributor, Nan brings a practical, real-world perspective to merchandising discipline, consumer behavior, market trends, and the evolving jewelry landscape.
Nan and her husband, Dave, are the proud “Head Wranglers” of three children, nine activities, and a social calendar that requires its own project manager. They met through Muay Thai boxing, which remains both a shared discipline and a favorite family activity. It continues to shape how they move through life: with focus, resilience, creativity, and the ability to pivot quickly when the plan inevitably changes.
The name FACEts was created with intention. It reflects the many facets of the jewelry industry Nan serves and the multi-faceted perspective she brings across merchandising, branding, product, pricing, people, presentation, data, and design.
The capitalized “FACE” speaks to her belief that meaningful growth is built through trust, face-to-face connection, and one thoughtful conversation at a time.
A frequent industry speaker and published trade contributor, Nan brings a practical, real-world perspective to merchandising discipline, consumer behavior, market trends, and the evolving jewelry landscape. She is a selective private jeweler by commission.
Outside of FACEts, Nan draws energy from her partner, three children, travel, wellness, and years of practicing Muay Thai, a reminder that growth often comes from staying curious, getting uncomfortable, and remaining open to reinvention.
